Air Belgium announces direct flights to two destinations in South Africa

Air Belgium now flies direct to Johannesburg and Cape Town. The Belgian airline has announced the creation of a new international air route which is to link Brussels to South Africa’s largest city, as it announced its arrival in Cape Town, the port city and capital of the southern country African.

Indeed, new routes between Belgium and South Africa will soon see the light of day. Thanks to its new agreement with Air Link, a South African airline, Air Belgium plans to launch flights to sixteen destinations in the country of Nelson Mandela.

As for its flight program set up between Belgium and South Africa, the Belgian carrier currently serves two weekly frequencies to Johannesburg-OR Tambo and Cape Town, using its Airbus A330-900 type aircraft equipped with a tri-class configuration (30 + 21 + 235).

Plane tickets for these two flights start at 553 Euros (round trip), while the baggage allowance offered (in the hold) is at least 30kg.
