Unaccompanied minor: Air Antwerp ensures that your children travel comfortably on board its planes

Air Antwerp looks forward to your children on board. Infant (0 or 1 year old) and children (including 2 to 11 years old) flights can be booked directly on its website. Infants and children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult (at least 18 years old). Infants must be carried on the lap of adults, and children must have their own seats. Therefore, for safety reasons, you should keep as many adults as traveling adult babies can accommodate up to one infant. Similarly, for safety reasons, Antwerp Air cannot accommodate more than 5 infants on a single flight. For children, there is no limit to the number of reservations, as long as you reserve at least one adult guide for each group of 12 children.

Air Antwerp strongly advises parents not to take their children on the plane without first consulting a doctor. In all cases, if a baby is born prematurely, Air Antwerp cannot accept newborns shorter than 7 days or shorter than 6 months. The incubator cannot be carried on the Air Antwerp flight.

Please note that Antwerp Air does not provide in-flight food suitable for infants. Therefore, it encourages you to take baby food and drinks with you. Unfortunately, as there is no necessary oven on board, it is currently unable to heat baby food or milk on board.

Booking children can enjoy an adult luggage permit. Infants or adults with infants are not allowed to bring extra luggage. However, each infant or child can ride a stroller for free, as long as it is folded and fits into the cabin of the aircraft. You can take this item with you on the boarding plane.

If you want to sit your baby in a car seat, it is only possible if you reserve an extra seat for this. Please contact Air Antwerp customer service for more information. The car seat can be rotated backward or forward, but must have a strong metal or plastic frame with a four-point seat belt, and must not exceed the following maximum dimensions: maximum length and width of 65 cm, maximum of 45 cm.
