How to get to Luik airport by public transport?

–         Public transport – Bus

Bus 57 runs between the largest station in Liege (Liege, Gare des Guillemins) and Liege airport (Bierset, Liege Airport), seven times a day in both directions from Monday to Friday. Bus 57 does not run on weekends and public holidays. Bus 53 runs between Place Saint-Lambert in the city and the airport from early in the morning to late at night all week. The journey by bus with bus 57 takes an average of 20 minutes, the journey time with bus 53 is over 30 minutes.

You can buy a ticket from the bus driver for € 2.50 (1 trip). Keep in mind that the ultra-modern Liege-Guillemins station is located south of the center and you can only get to the center (Liege, Place Saint-Lambert) by bus 53. From the Netherlands, there is a direct train every hour from Maastricht station to Liege-Guillemins, the journey takes 32 minutes. A standard adult train ticket costs € 5.80.
