Transavia increases its flights from Brussels

Transavia will inaugurate direct flights to Salzburg and Tenerife. The Dutch carrier will depart from its Brussels-Zaventem hub from next November. Indeed, the winter program of this airline includes several other European destinations like Alicante and Ibiza in Spain, and Heraklion in Greece.

Transavia, which specializes in low-cost flights, has also announced its return to Innsbruck in Austria at the end of December. It will also land in Salzburg (another destination in Austria), and Tenerife in Spain and Faro in Portugal. These flights will be operated by Boeing 737-700 with 189 seats.

On the other hand, Transavia will land at the end of next June at several other destinations, suspended due to the pandemic. The low-cost Dutch company plans to deploy two Boeing aircraft from its base in Zaventem to ensure its services from the Belgian airport during the summer season.

According to Marcel de Nooijer, Managing Director of the Dutch airline, the opening of these flights strengthens Transavia’s position as a main air operator on the air bridges linking Belgium toNetherlands.
